Chris is Managing Director of CWG and has over 20 years’ experience in construction, specialising in roofing. This includes roles as a Site, Project and Contracts Manager. He oversees the company ensuring its success on every project, both commercially and with regards to quality and health and safety.

Chris maintains relationships with our client base including Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Building Consultancies, Main Contractors and Schools and Academies.

Chris drives excellence through continuous development; by investing in his team through training and by maintaining industry and manufacture accreditations and approvals.

Lee Joined us in 2016, bringing with him over 30 years’ experience of roofing and refurbishment projects in the public sector including Education, Healthcare and Residential.

At CWG Lee primarily manages our new projects and takes a lead role on managing all social value aspects of our projects ensuring that we deliver a lasting legacy within the communities in which we work.

Richard has been with CWG since 2011 and has been responsible for all aspects of pre-construction activities as well as delivering a number of projects in live environments across all different sectors.

Richard has over 40 years experience in roofing and construction and oversees all of our projects at a high level, ensuring consistency and success in addition to running his own programmes of work. He assists with resource allocation and planning and programming including identifying Value Engineering and efficiency opportunities.

Chris has over 35 years’ experience of construction projects in the public sector including Education, Healthcare and Residential. At CWG Chris primarily manages our occupied building projects, developing programmes and allocating resource to undertake the works.

Leader of our operations, Chris oversees all aspects of the project to ensure delivery is achieved safely, on-time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Liz has over 20 years experience in the construction industry, including experience within a Tier One contracting environment. She joined CWG Group in 2019 and has played a key role in establishing the company’s Commercial Department, embedding clear commercial processes to support project delivery and business growth.

Alongside surveying live projects, Liz has worked closely with clients and consultants to ensure commercial clarity, strong cost control and effective project reporting. As CWG expanded, she led the implementation of Construct for Sage in August 2022, strengthening financial visibility, consistency and commercial governance across the business.

Liz supports the wider commercial function through departmental reporting and the development of the team, bringing a practical, collaborative approach focused on delivering value, quality and service supporting CWG’s continued growth.

Jon Davies brings over 20 years of industry experience, having progressed from Site Supervisor to senior management through strong leadership and operational capability. He now oversees site operations across multiple projects, ensuring high standards of quality, programme delivery, cost control, and Health and Safety compliance.

Known for his practical, hands‑on approach and deep operational knowledge, Jon effectively manages teams, mitigates risk, and drives consistent performance. His background spans strategy, operations, and stakeholder engagement, combining clear communication with a focus on measurable outcomes.

Jon is recognised for his attention to detail, accountability, and commitment to continuous improvement. He values collaboration, integrity, and thoughtful problem‑solving, bringing these principles to every project and striving to create sustainable, meaningful progress.

Gary brings 23 years of construction experience, specialising in roofing and a range of related trades, with a strong track record in contracts management and overseeing projects both commercially and operationally. He plays a critical role in ensuring quality, Health and Safety compliance, and overall project performance, managing contracts, amendments, and associated documentation while fostering successful partnerships.

Gary has achieved multiple qualifications in specialised systems and is known for being resourceful in resolving contract‑related issues or disputes, whether internal or external. He is also committed to continuous improvement, contributing to the development of procedures and policies that streamline contract management workflows, and has been actively involved in charitable community projects, supporting successful outcomes beyond day‑to‑day operations.

David Hill, Head of Estimating at CWG Group, leads the estimation team with over 26 years of experience in construction project cost analysis and bid preparation. He is responsible for delivering accurate and competitive estimates that align with project requirements and client budgets, ensuring financial viability and effective value engineering.

With a strong and extensive background in the construction industry, David oversees the preparation of detailed tender submissions and works closely with project managers, quantity surveyors, and key stakeholders to secure successful contract awards. His leadership and attention to detail ensure that CWG maintains its reputation for precision, efficiency, and thoroughness throughout the pre-construction phase, contributing significantly to the company’s continued growth and high levels of client satisfaction.
